Criminal law is an extended branch of law and order that is related to punishable offences and penalties. Criminal law cases are generally the ones that extend to sessions after sessions in courts and have various implications for different types of crimes. For instance, drug possession in the U.S. can land you into community service; and being acquitted for drug dealing, smuggling, or trafficking can result in jail time. On the other hand, if you are acquitted for drug dealing or possession in Malaysia, then you will be hanged to death after serving jail time; the most serious penalty for such incidents in any part of the world.
