Introduction:
A.G. As of the 2000 Census, about 1.6 million children in the U.S. under the age of 18 were adopted. Of those, around 98,000 were one year old or less. Without adoption, where would these children be right now?

In my speech, I will be teling you why I am for adoption and why I personally think adoption is great.
P.S.
Today, I will explain how adopting provides a child with a family, which is one of the most important things in a child'd life, how adoption offers a child a better outlook on their life and future, and finally how it can give people who are unable to have children on their own a chance to experience the blessing of raising a child.
Body:
A. Adoption provides a child with a family. i. Adopting parents offer a child an incredible gift; a loving and caring family.
Ii. A child needs a stable family and home to grow up well. Adoption provides a child with this.
Iii. Adoptive parents give children a chance they would most likely not get if they grew up in foster care or an orphanage.
B. Adoption offers a child a better life and outlook on their future.
I. A child can have a much better life if they are adopted.
Ii. They could be much happier and better odd. They can be provided with many very important things like love, care, a good education, a chance to participate in extracurricular activities, a chance to interact with family and even siblings, and also a stable household.
Iii. Children are able to get individual attention and care when they have an actual family, instead of they were in foster care or a orphanage.
C. Adoption gives people who can't have children on their own to have and raise a child.
I. Some couples or individuals can not have children, because they are infertile, homosexual, or single.
Ii. These people still deserve the chance to be able to experience raising a child, and with adoption this is possible.
Conclusion:
A. So, maybe when you are older you may consider adoption. It is not the choice for everyone, but you may decide later in life this is something you would like to do.
B. So, in my speech, I have explained why I am for adoption. I have stated how adoption provides a child with a family, how adoption offers a child a better chance at life, and finally how it can give people who can't have children on their own a chance to raise a child.
Adoption has changed the lives and futures of millions of children. Do you think you have what it takes to one day change a child's life and give a child a positive outlook on their future?
