What is the proper procedure for informing the mess checker that your flight has arrived?
The Cadet Flt/CC will halt the flight in the bay and place the flight at "Parade Rest". The Flt/CC will take the most directed route to the mess checker, halt within 1 pace from the mess checker, salute, and state "Sir/Ma'am ___ reports with a dining priority of ___, we arrived at ___" with times down to the second. After receiving the response, the cadet will state "Will that be all Sir/Ma'am?", wait for the response, salute, and head back to the flight.
True or False: All cadets will stop what they are doing with the arrival of a commissioned officer.
False: The mess checker and cadet reporting in do not interrupt their interaction.
What is done with the arrival of an O-6 or above to the area?
The first cadet who sees the officer(s) will call the area to attention, render a salute and the greeting of the day, and when the salute is returned instruct the area to carry on.

What are the responsibilities of the cadet seated at position 1?
Stack the tray of the cadet at Position 2 on his or her tray, recover his or her gear and then proceed to the tray cabinet.
When do take your seat at your table?
Once the cadet at position 4 (or the last cadet at your table) states "Be Seated". The assigned cadet will state the verbiage once their tray is centered on their side and grounded or it has been 20 seconds since the last cadet has arrived.
True or False: Cadets may begin eating as soon as they are seated.
False: Cadets will wait for the cadet at position 4 to state "Moment of Silence" to accommodate those wishing to pray before the meal. The cadet at position 4 will state "Enjoy your meal" to give the signal to begin the meal.
