Abuse
Physical maltreatment and/or language that condemns or vilifies usually unjustly, intemperately, and angrily. It also refers to a deceitful act, corrupt practice, and/or excessive use of a substance such as drugs and alcohol.

Dialogue
A conversation, written or verbal, between two or more persons and an exchange of ideas and opinions. A discussion between representatives of parties to a conflict that is aimed at resolution.
Dual Relationships
Relationships in which a health service provider is concurrently participating in two or more role categories with a patient. When a person such as a teacher is acting in another capacity or where multiple relationships occur between people such as friend, mentor, advisor, and teacher.
