Elements of a Story

The plot is the order of events that a story will go in. It tells you why things happened in a certain order.

The character in a story could be a person, animal, object, or any created figure of imagination. There are different types of characters. Two of them important are protagonist and the antaginist.

The setting of a story is when and where the events take place. It sets the mood of the story by giving you a visual.

The climax of a story is where there is a rise in action. The drama of the story reaches its highest point.

The ending of the story is mainly where your solution will be found or when everything will come all together. Most stories typically end in a happy ending.
