You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness."

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled.

And you were dead in the trespasses and sins......even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you have been saved –

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God . . . and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
