Measuring the rate of photosynthesis using pond weed
Put a cutting of pond weed such as Elodea upside down in a test tube. By counting the amount of oxygen bubbles produced per minute, you would find out the rate of photosynthesis. Try ajusting the lamp position etc to see how light intensity affects the experiment.

Investigating the effect of light on gas exchange by a leaf
4 sealed boiling tubes should contain 10cm3 of hydrogencarbonate indicator solution. Put a leaf in 3 of them, leaving one as a control. Cover one with foil, the other with translucent material, and leave the control and other in light. The solution in the control, and translucent one remains orange(normal), but the tube in the dark which didn't use much carbon dioxide turned yellow, and the one in the light turned purple.
