Feb. 1964 they sign with Capitol Records in America

-1965 song "Yesterday" most recorded in history
-late 65 came out with album 'Rubber Soul' which was influenced by Bob Dylan to write more meaningful lyrics - songs like "Norwegia Wood" and "Im looking through you"
- Aug. 1966 album Revolver, George Harrison writes a number of the songs "Yellow Submarine" and "im only Sleeping" by Lennon "Tomorrow Never Knows" is at the end of the album and is influenced by eastern cultures (Tibetan Book of Dead) they manipulated the sounds and voices by using different tape soures and blending them together
-End of Beatlemania in 66 with the Jesus Backlash (lennon answered a question about religion and it was taken out of context)
their last show was in San Fransico and then they stopped playing live
