What are the 3 types of HO (Homeowners) policy
HO-1, HO-2, and HO-3
In additon to the HO-1, HO-2, and HO-3 there are policies to cover what other 3 things?
Renters, Condominium owners, and older dwellings.
Section 1 - Property Coverages on Homeowners Package Policy consists of Coverage A, coverage b, Coverage C, and Coverage D. What do they represent?
A - Dwelling B - Other Structures C- Personal Property D - Loss of use Deductible, usually at least $250
Section 2 - Property Coverages on Homeowners Package Policy consists of Coverage E and Coverage F What do they represent?
E - Personal Liability F- Medical payments to other No Deductible
Named insured?
The person named on the Dec page and their spouse if a resident of the same household.
Bodily Injury?
Bodily Harm, sickness, or disease, including required care, loss of service, and death that results
Insured?
You and residents of your household who are your relatives, incuding children under the age of 24, who are away at school and other persons under the age of 21, who are in your care.
Insured Location:
Your Residencee Premise, any part of a premises whre an insured is temporarily residing, vacant land owned by insured (other than farmland)
Property Damage:
Physical injury to, destruction of, or loss of used of tangible property.
Residence Premises:
Up to a four family dwelling plus other buildings and the grounds where you reside and is on the declarations
What does the word "stack" mean when refering to an HO policy.
It means that each coverage is added to the others.
Coverage A - Dwelling: covers?
The residence premises shown on the Dec Page, including structures attached, and any materials or supplies
Coverage B - Other Structures: covers?
Other structures on the residences set apart from the dwelling by a clear space, in lcuding structures connected by only a fence or utility line.
Coverage B - Other Structures: does not cover?
Business and Farm structures
What percentage of Coverage A is Coverage B?
It is an additional 10%
