Emergency response plan
For different types of emergencies. written published and posted. alarm facilities an emergency communication devices. a list of whos in charge of every aspect of emergency activity. infoon the event, security and protection of the workers, proection of what is left, documentation of damage and injuries and liaison with bureaucrats, insurance and media.
Evacuation plan
Be aware of at least 2 evacuation routes and know where to go. well lit exits. notices about exit procedures should be posted. roll call should be done at the assembly site, and list of missing employees should be given to the command centre. 1. site must be divided into small related areas. 2. outsidethe buildng there shouldbe assembly points that allow movement for emergency vehicles. 3. once every employee has been accounted for employees may return to work. 4. any equip or process that may increase the overall risk of the emergency should be addressed. 5. end of emergency can be called only by senir person responsible for the operations emergency procedures 6. post evacuation assessment must be done to identify problems in evacuation plan.

Emergency equip such as fire estinguishers must be accesable. workers must be trained to use it.

Firedrills are rehearsals. the results such as evacuation timesinvolves simulated injuries and provides a measure of an organizations ability to respond
Emergency manager
Every emergency plan must have a senior person, plant manager who will be incharge of emergency activities.
