Barrister

Legal assistant
Qualified to perform legal work that requires knowledge of law but cannot give legal advice. Under the supervision of an attorney.
Legal administrative assistant
Employee that performs tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the office/procedures of legal matters.
LLC
Limited Liability Corporation - hybrid of corporation and partnership.
Partnership
Association of two o more individuals to carry on a business.
Privileged communication
Communication that is not subject to disclosure in a court of law.
Professional Corporation
The founding attorney or attorneys receive shares in the business
Support person/staff
Person or staff in the office assisting the attorney in the performance of duties.
