1st Rule of Armed Conflict
Marines fight only the enemy
2nd Rule of Armed Conflict
Marines do not harm enemy combatants who surrender. Marines disarm them and turn them over to their superiors.
3rd Rule of Armed Conflict
Marines do not torture or kill enemy prisoners of war or detainees. Marines treat them humanely.
