Interpret computer displays, maintain communication nets between air to air air to ground and maritime activities. record, display, and distribute mission information concerning tactical air, ground and maritime activities. operating and monitoring infrared system, monitoring the TV system, locating, tracking, and engaging the targets with the 25mm, 40mm, or 105mm cannons, assessing battle damage and assisting the navigator.

Aerial Gunner. loading, monitoring, firing, troubleshooting, repairing, directing 7.62 mini-guns... perform alternate insertion and extraction procedures, cargo loading, operate aircraft systems and perform scanning duties, scanning duties often performed while using night-vision goggles.

Skill level 3.
Graduate from Aircrew Fundamentals and Basic Flight Attendant course.
Skill level 5.
OJT and CDC completion.
Flight Safety.
NCO manages safety programs, ensures members recieve job related and local area safety training, conducts safety inspections, and reports any safety mishaps to the wing safety office.
Aircrew Training.
This office is responsible for the maintenance and administratin of training records and training requirements of aircrew members. The training office works closely with the scheduling and squadron standardization and evaluation (STAN/EVAL) offices for scheduling training missions and check rides.
Standardization and Evaluation (Stan/Eval)
This office is responsible for the administration of the commander's STAN/EVAL program. The STAN/EVAL office administer and documents requirements for upgrade checkrides and in-flight evaluations to those who are due periodic flight evaluations and maintain Flight Evaluation Folders on all assigned flyers.
Flight Superintendent.
Normally an NCO or SNCO, are responsible for the daily management of all individuals assigned under them. They may delegate duties directly to individuals or to element leaders. Sometimes performs First Sergeant duties.
Special Duty Assignments
AMC and TACC, Instructor, CDC writer, MAJCOM functional, Enlisted Aircrew Career Field manager at the Pentagon.
