Mass media is a form of communication that is reached by a large sum of people. Examples of broadcast media is film, radio or television. Digital media is comprised of any kind of internet or mobile mass communication like web pages, and emails. Mass media even includes outdoor media like billboards and blimps. We are surrounded by mass media all the time. Since this is such an important topic, we have decided to dedicate 3 sets of flashcards just to helping you understand mass media.

In our first set of flashcards, we discuss example questions that are usually found on mass media tests. We ask questions like, “What is a culture map?” and “What was the first mass media product?” In our second set, we discuss social science as it refers to mass media. In our final set, we discuss important concepts involved in mass media and advertising. Good luck!
